Takeaways from, Jommel Macabagdal, our CEO’s inspirational message during 199th Gokongwei College of Engineering Recognition Rites held last 13th June 2024:

1. Prepare

Our Family, School and Community prepared us about Life after graduation. In school, we are taught to solve problems. In every challenge, there can be multiple solutions and often the best is the simplest one.

2. Persevere

No matter how much you prepare in life and projects, challenges will hit you. Don’t quit easily, Persevere and be resilient. You can be the Change that you want to be.

3. Progress

Our CEO’s personal mantra is ‘Progress over Perfection’. Grow not just in your career but in Life, and real progress is including others together with you.

In closing, he advised the new Engineering Graduates that the best way to predict the future is for them to BUILD IT.
